Sadly the resort is nowhere near as smart as this video would suggest. Our 'Deluxe Ocean Front Bungalow' was definitely not deluxe and was nowhere near 'ocean front'! On arrival we were told that in the daylight we would be able to see the sea 'through the trees'!
Our initial bungalow was right next to the car parking area which was full of mopeds etc and deliveries commenced at 6am.
In the bungalow there was only one bedside table and no bedside lights, bathroom was very basic with a large gap at the top of the outside wall in which the biggest gecko I have ever seen lived. He was at least 40cm long! A bit of a fright when using the bathroom at night and he was on the wall above the loo. There were large chunks of plaster missing in the bathroom by light fittings (which were very dim) and no space to put out toiletries.
In an 'eco resort' we were shocked to see supplies of disposable toothbrushes/toothpaste/plastic bottles of shower gel etc.
In the bar/restaurant they played western pop music constantly, which the staff behind the bar sang along to. This was particularly annoying as we wanted peace and quiet and to get away from it all.
Overall, a disappointment.
